BRIDGEPORT, Conn., February 1, 2017 – Sherre Hirsch, will be the featured guest at Jewish Senior Services Women’s Auxiliary Annual Spring Luncheon and Boutique on May 8 at The Waterview in Monroe, Connecticut. Hirsch is a Rabbi, Author, Mother and Spiritual Life Consultant. The event is co-chaired by Peri Cook of Trumbull, Jeni Cook-Mack of Easton and Martha Zuckman of Greenwich.
Sherre Hirsch, after eight years in the pulpit, left Sinai Temple, Los Angeles’s largest and oldest Conservative synagogue, in 2006. Since then, she has published We Plan, God Laughs: What to Do When Life Hits You Over the Head, and in August 2015 published Thresholds: How to Thrive Through Life’s Transitions to Live Fearlessly and Regret-Free. In addition to writing, Hirsch has appeared on a variety of national media outlets from The Today Show to Extra! She serves as the Spiritual Life consultant for Canyon Ranch Properties, where she organizes retreats and leads workshops focused on coping with grief and the healing process. Hirsch’s mission is to empower individuals to be their own spiritual guides.
